To give credit where it’s due, the ambience is always exceptionally nice. Jimbu has nailed the aesthetic. It remains a fantastic, clean, and vibrant little spot for corporate yuppies, hyperactive kids, and families looking for a reliable seating arrangement. The service is polite, but the kitchen needs a serious wake-up call to match the beautiful decor.

Meryl Streep once said an actor’s job is to let you feel what other lives feel like. Swastima Khadka took that literally, carrying the entire weight of Lalibazar on her back like a true Sherpa of the silver screen. Her character, Madhu, starts off blithely accepting her village's oppressive traditions and ends up fiercely resisting them.

I bit into a piece of the "Original Recipe," expecting juicy bliss. Instead, I found a dark, stringy thing coiled inside the meat. Now, I’ve eaten KFC in the States, and while that’s no health spa, I’ve never had to perform an autopsy on my lunch.

We’re here because Sekuwa by Kilo went viral on TikTok with a lunch menu starting at Rs 99. In this economy? That’s not just a deal; that’s a miracle. So, I grabbed a colleague (because you never face a Rs 99 mystery meal alone) and headed over to one of their joints to see if the reality matched the 15-second hype.
