Just take a bus to KKVT Rs 2,500 cross the border for Rs 20 get anothet auto for Rs 20 then get on the local bus to Silguri for Rs 80 NPR then catch a local bus to Darjeeling or Sikkim for Rs 300 NPR and stay in cheap hotels roam around have momo come back...total budget is less than Rs 10,000of you do 3 N 4days solo barebones trip
