To everyone who has been sliding into the DMs like a lost tourist in Thamel, the wait is over! Suraj Subedi is returning with the flagship cohort, "FiNd ThE writer WiThiN YoU," because apparently, there is a Shakespeare hiding inside us all—sandwiched somewhere between the momo cravings and the existential dread.
Whether you are a total beginner or someone who has been "almost finishing" a novel for five years, this is your chance to stop staring at a blank screen and start bothering people with your prose. We live in hope that by the end of this, your writing will be more structured than a Kathmandu road construction project.
The Logistics: In-Person, Online, and the Illusion of Choice
The universe has aligned for two formats: In-person sessions for the Kathmandu Valley residents (May 30 – July 4) and Online sessions for the rest of the world (May 31 – July 5). You get one session per week, which is just enough time to feel guilty about not writing before the next one starts.
You can choose between Nepali or English, proving that our confusion is truly bilingual and inclusive of all creative struggles. It is sarcastically comforting to know that even if you are joining from a different time zone, the pain of a writer’s block remains universally the same.
Who Can Join? The Brave, the Bold, and the "Passionately Confused"
This cohort is open to anyone with a passion for writing, which is basically anyone who has ever felt a "vibe" and thought, I should tweet that. No prior experience is required, though it is "helpful"—much like having a map is "helpful" when navigating the alleys of Patan, but not strictly mandatory if you enjoy getting lost.
Beginners and seasoned writers are both welcome, creating a beautiful mix of people who don't know what they're doing and people who are very good at pretending they do. We hope that at least one person emerges with a story that doesn't involve a rainy day and a cup of tea.
Your writing sample and the "sincerity" of your application are the key factors for shortlisting, so try not to use AI for the part where you explain why you love writing. Apply now, because the writer within you is tired of being ignored and really wants to complain about the price of coffee on paper.
The Nitty-Gritty: Duration: May 30 – July 5, 2026 | Schedule: 1 Session/Week | Format: In-Person (KTM) & Online | Language: Nepali/English | Deadline: May 18, 12:00 PM | Link: Apply Here
