For decades, our glorious leaders treated the Prime Minister’s office as a golden ticket for all-expenses-paid global vacations. They boarded jetliners packed with wives, cousins, and a whole truckload of parasitic hakims to pocket free bhatta, sip overpriced chiya, and pretend to represent Nepal.
But let’s be honest—what do we miss at the UN General Assembly? Another useless guff session, a few bad photo-ops, and a PM discovering hot dogs in New York. World leaders aren't lining up to hand us $100 billion when our financial books have been cooked since the 1990s.
The Great Economic Natak
We live in a magical land that imports tens of billions in basic goods while exporting barely a fraction. Our prized "exports" rely on shady byaparis doing oil-refining nataks before shipping it to India. The second India plugs that loophole, our export stats will plummet to zero.
Meanwhile, we’ve boasted about hydropower potential since Kathmandu was a giant lake, yet we barely squeeze out a trickle. Had past governments actually worked instead of calculating bribes, we’d have 20,000 MW powering our factories and erasing the trade deficit.
Instead, the whole system is a rotting carcass. Slapping iodine or a band-aid won't cut it—until corrupt hakims face harsh jail time, they’ll keep pulling strings behind clueless mantris. Even at the Malpot, where sarkari chors once feast on easy daily cash, the bureaucracy remains an Olympic sport in making citizens run around in circles.
Chimeki Games and Broken Toys
Why must every new PM crawl to Delhi or Beijing on a ceremonial leash? The ROI on these neighborhood pilgrimages is pure comedy. India hands us a dozen ambulances and school buses while Indian developers squat on our valuable hydropower licenses for decades without hammering a single nail.
If we build a power plant with Chinese funds, India refuses to buy the electricity—yet Delhi happily racks up a hundred-billion-dollar trade deficit with Beijing while their soldiers exchange fistfights in the Himalayas!
To top off the joke, our past geniuses took heavy foreign loans for faulty Chinese planes and ghost-town international airports. Now we’re stuck paying the interest on broken toys that sit idle on the tarmac.
Time to Stop Shaking Ass on TikTok
Once Balen finishes his year-long staycation, he shouldn't waste fuel flying to Delhi or Beijing. He should board a flight straight to the Gulf, meet the Sheikhs, and do whatever it takes to lure those Dinars and Riyals into our energy and tourism sectors. After that, head straight to Europe—to Germany and Scandinavia—to steal their technological playbook and overhaul our broken education system.
We need to train a powerhouse generation of skilled workers, scientists, and real researchers instead of a nation of jobless graduates. It’s time to think outside the box, kick out the old routines, and stop running a sovereign nation like a viral TikTok dance!
Jai Nepal!
